Excellent food, service and decor. The General Tsao chicken had big crispy pieces drenched in awesome sauce. The tofu was crispy outside and creamy inside, firm veg and more awesome sauce. The crab Rangoon had the biggest & best filling. Ribs and fried rice were very good. I'm coming back for crispy duck...

Best Chinese food in the city to ME. On Brady Street so parking is not ideal, but just get your steps in from a few paces away. Generous portions enough to feed about 3 people comfortably. Price is kinda steep for Chinese takeout, but you get what you pay for and you’re get a delicious dinner for two days! I ordered the pork fried rice, chicken lo mein, and crab rangoon.

Consistently, the best Chinese food around town. Fresh ingredients. Entrees can feed three (normal) people. Love the twice-cooked spicy (tender!!) pork, cream-cheese filled wonton. Sesame chicken. Duck spring rolls...awesome. You won’t be disappointed.

Chinese is my favorite ethnic food and the Emperor of China in Milwaukee is hands down THE BEST Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at...and I have eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants. Not only was it the best Chinese food I have ever had, but it was overall one of the best dining experiences of any kind that I have had in a long time. Between us we shared orders of General Tsao's chicken, sesame chicken and egg foo young...all were superb! Everything was fresh, prepared perfectly, and the sauces were incredible! And the portion sizes were unbelievably generous. Between the three of us we were not able to eat even half of the food...and we are all big eaters. There was more than enough to take home for another full meal. The service was great...prompt and attentive to our every need. And considering the quality and quantity of the food it was an outstanding value for the price. The atmosphere was pleasant but my only criticism was that the lighting was a little too dim. This will be a definite destination anytime I am in the Milwaukee area from now on.

Beautiful interior. I have bad legs, and was very indecisive. the older gentleman at the front counter was very patient with me and my order, which came out within 10 minutes. I got the beef and broccoli takeout box, and the crab rangoon was large and amazingly crispy, same with the egg roll. The fried rice is well seasoned, and the beef is juicy and tender. The sauce is perfect, not too sweet, not too salty. A bit pricy for me personally, but good as a once-in-a-while given my circumstances. Thank you for the food!

I found out about them during the pandemic. I used to order the volcano chicken. I finally had the opportunity to go in person. The waitress/hostess really made the visit an enjoyable one. The spicy crab rangoon was amazing! We ordered the garlic shrimp, and it was the best we ever had. After your meal they give you complimentary ice cream and chocolate fortune cookies.

I live for Chinese food. I might’ve been Chinese in a past life and this? This is what Chinese food is supposed to be! Family style dishes in a traditional comfort setting, but with elevated flavors you can’t easily find in Milwaukee. If you’re lucky, you even get the family treatment with some off menu items. I asked for a Mongolian Beef (not on the menu) and they brought out possibly the best Mongolian Beef I’ve had in years! The fried rice never disappoints, their lunch combos are priced very reasonably for the portions you get and the meats are always premium cuts. There’s a reason you won’t find orange chicken here for 7.99 and it’s worth every damn penny you pay for. Must stop here if you love traditional Chinese food.
